You don't have to overspend to achieve a gorgeous you. Beauty is just a raid away from your cabinets and fridge. Mother Nature’s best kept skin and hair care products are all around you. If you are in a beauty emergency and need a quick rescue, head to the kitchen and mix up some of the natural beauty products you can find in there.


You will need:
• 1/2 cup of squeezed oregano with water
• 1/2 cup of Calamansi juice

Preparation: Mix them together in a bowl stir to achieve a thick consistency. Apply this in your elbows and knees with cotton balls. Do not rinse it with water.
Purpose: Calamansi and Lemon are commonly used as condiments for our meals but it can also work wonders to your hair, armpits and even on the dark pigmentation in your skin such as on knees and elbows. These citric fruits are rich in vitamin C and their juices can act as bleach and astringent.

You will need:
• 1 mashed avocado
• 1 mashed carrot
• 1 beaten egg
• 3 tablespoon honey

Preparation: Put them all together in a bowl and mix lightly. Apply it on your face and neck, and then leave it for around 15 minutes until it dries up. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
Purpose: Want a younger looking face? Avocados are rich in vitamin E while carrots are rich with antioxidants. The mixture can help rebuild collagen and fight skin aging. Regular application of this mask will result in having softer texture and even an skin tone.

You will need:
• 3 inches of grated ginger
• 2 teaspoons of virgin coconut oil
Preparation: Squeeze the grated ginger. Mix the ginger juice and coconut oil together in a small bowl. Apply it on dry skin.
Purpose: Ginger is a minty plant and its oil can revitalize your skin and promote smoothness. It is commonly used by singers to soothe their throats, so why not opt to soothe your dry and dessert-like skin? Coconut oil, on the other hand, works wonders on your skin, acting as a deep-acting lotion that can soften you precious skin.

Coffee Body Scrub
You will need:
• 3 teaspoons of Barako or any ground coffee
• 1 teaspoon salt
Preparation: Cook or brew the coffee ground together with salt in a pot. Drain all the water and collect the entire coffee ground residue. Let it sit for 20 minutes or until it cools down. Scrub it to your entire body like an exfoliating body scrub and rinse.
Purpose: Coffee is an anti-aging agent that invigorates and tightens the skin.

Cucumber Hair Moisturizer
You will need:
• 1 egg
• 3 teaspoons of olive oil
• 1 piece of cucumber
Preparation: Blend the cucumber, egg and olive oil. Apply it on hair and leave it for 10 minutes. Do this once a month.
Purpose: Cucumber is best for hydrating dry skin and dull hair. The good thing is, while it rejuvenates your hair, it’s also good for hydrating your dry flaky scalp. Damaged hair from swimming in chlorine? This concoction can pair your pretty locks fast.
